One Palette, Three Completely Different Makeup Looks

Sometimes the best way to know whether an eyeshadow palette is actually versatile is to stop swatching it and start creating with it.


For this challenge, I used the Blend Bunny Cosmetics x Ellis Atlantis collaboration to create three totally different looks: one quick and wearable, one full-glam and sculpted, and one artistic look that pushed me outside my usual makeup style.

The goal was simple: prove that one colorful palette can work for everyday makeup, dramatic glam, and creative expression.


Look One: The 10-Minute Everyday Face

The first look was intentionally simple. I wanted something I could wear while running errands, heading out quickly, or just wanting to feel cute without spending an hour getting ready.

For the eyes, I used only two shades:

  • A soft gray on the outer portion of the eye

  • A white shade toward the inner eye

The shadows blended easily and created enough contrast to make the look feel finished without becoming complicated.

For the complexion, I kept everything lightweight with a BB or CC cream containing SPF, followed by liquid blush, bronzer, mascara, and a soft lip.

This is the kind of makeup that looks polished but still feels effortless.

Best for: Everyday wear, beginners, quick mornings, and anyone who wants a soft look without using ten different shadows.

Look Two: Sculpted Latina Glam

For the second look, I removed the eye makeup with micellar water and kept the rest of the complexion in place. This made it easier to transform the first look without starting completely over.

I used a deep brown shadow and created a rounded shape that extended from the inner eye toward the outer corner. Then I added shimmer and highlight to the inner eye for more dimension.

This look was inspired by dramatic celebrity glam, so I also focused heavily on:

  • Sculpted cheekbones

  • A more defined nose contour

  • Strong blush placement

  • Lashes

  • A bold lip

  • Glowing highlighter

The blushes from the collection were one of my favorite parts. They blended easily and added a rich, polished finish without looking patchy.

After changing the backdrop, accessories, and bandana, the makeup took on a completely different personality. It felt glamorous, warm, and very Latina.

Best for: Events, photos, date nights, full-glam lovers, and anyone who wants a strong sculpted look.

Look Three: Colorful Artistic Makeup

The final look was where I decided to stop playing safe.

Instead of creating another traditional glam look, I used the palette’s blue, purple, and pink tones to build an asymmetrical artistic design.

On one eye, I brought blue shadow down from the inner corner in a shape I had never tried before. On the other eye, I created the opposite shape using a different color.

The looks were connected, but they were not identical.

That was the fun part.

I also used a purple shadow to highlight certain areas and added the pink shimmer from the palette as a bold reflective accent. The shimmer ended up being one of my favorite products in the entire collection because it worked beautifully beyond the eyelids.

This look reminded me that makeup does not always have to be flattering in the traditional sense. Sometimes it can simply be creative, strange, emotional, or fun.

Best for: Editorial makeup, content creation, photography, festivals, artistic challenges, and anyone who wants to experiment.

What I Learned From Creating All Three

This challenge showed me that a colorful palette does not have to sit unused until you have a special event.

The same shades can create:

  • A soft everyday look

  • A dramatic full-glam face

  • An artistic editorial moment

The difference comes from placement, intensity, styling, and how many layers you build.

You do not always need more makeup. Sometimes you just need more ideas for the makeup you already own.

Which Look Would You Wear?
